Create a brand identity, including logo, website and mobile app that targets customers of all ages to purchase local produce and groceries from a sustainable/organic small store.

First I met with my client and discussed their vision of the brand and current business model. I then Identified and researched the current competing brands in the market. By outlining the business’s values, about statement, and mission, I began to design the logo based upon research, current vision and already operating business. This helped establish the the aesthetic appeal of the logo design, website and mobile app.

I drew the typography and logo based upon images and symbols that were represented in my client’s business. In Autumn there is always a pumpkin festival, along with summer symbols that include flowers and corn. The hand-drawn lettering helps keep the logo playful and represents the atmosphere of an organic environment. The colors chosen are vibrant, positive, earthy, inviting and warm. With this aesthetic the web and mobile design were based upon these same images, and coloring.
