    Music school aiming to provide professional and accessible music lessons through a virtual platform. Targeting all aspiring musicians of all ages and demographics across the world, who are especially in need of an online music platform.

  • Create a brand identity, including logo, website and mobile app that targets musicians and students to continue their musical education in a professional environment, while also eliminating transportation and geographical barriers.

  • First I Identified and researched online music schools, and professional educators that are providing virtual music lessons, to get a grasp of the current competing brands in the market. I then formulated the brand identity of the company by outlining the business’s values, about statement, and mission. This helped establish the business name, along with the aesthetic appeal of the logo and web/mobile design.

  • I chose the word ‘start’ because the meaning can infer the “initiation, beginning, first step in doing, to make happen” which went along with the idea of starting music lessons. Then I chose a typeface that resonated with a non-competitive and friendly environment, which aligned with the company values: inspire, teach, acceptance, international, passion, creativity, life-long learning, music. The treble clef symbol used to replace the ‘o’ in violin is the range of notes that violinists play, and provides a nice artistic design that can be isolated in the brand identity.

  • After the logo was established I created a brand identity system, of which I designed a website and mobile app that would help expand my client’s business. This is a brand guidelines book that can be referred to during all design expansions.
